• Build and manage HR function at BigHat Biosciences. • Work closely with leadership to develop and execute the people roadmap, focusing on all parts of the employee lifecycle.
• Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, HRIS, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Ensure HR processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with BigHat’s growth objectives. • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a compliant and high-performing workplace. • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters, offering guidance on complex issues and facilitating conflict resolution. • Lead HR projects and initiatives that support the company’s growth and OKRs. • Manage BigHat’s competitive total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and recognition strategies that attract, motivate, and retain top talent. • Regularly benchmark and analyze compensation data to ensure our offerings are competitive and equitable. • Lead the annual compensation review process and oversee the administration of benefit programs. • Administer and enhance BigHat’s current performance management framework that drives accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the organization. • Partner with leadership to understand and establish clear performance metrics, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and development opportunities. • Ensure consistent application of performance management policies and practices.
