Description

• Key member of the spacecraft team responsible for design, build and test. • Collaborating with electrical design, RF systems design, flight software, ground software, mechanical, and spacecraft operations teams. • Significant responsibility and autonomy to deliver product on all phases of design, test, and production. • Energetic electrical hardware design engineer designing, testing, and troubleshooting prototype and flight systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years designing, testing, troubleshooting complex board designs and systems. • Understanding of hardware evaluation methodologies. • Extensive experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers. • Experience with I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB. • Experience designing modern analog and digital electronics. • Experience in PCB schematic capture & layout. • Experience with Altium designer tools or similar electronic CAD tools. • Knowledge of PCBA fabrication and assembly process. • Excellent design and manufacturing documentation skills. • Experience working with contract manufacturers. • Ability to work autonomously. • Strong technical communication skills in a collaborative environment. • Soldering and PCB rework skills. • Experience designing high reliability systems is a bonus. • Experience in C, Python or software in general is a plus.
