Description
• Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Development, responsible for valuation, due diligence, and execution of project acquisition opportunities. • Support and lead all parts of the M&A process. • Prepare detailed memos and presentations for senior management.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree required in finance, business administration, economics, policy, or engineering. • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a finance or a development role with specific focus on financial modeling. • Renewable energy, cleantech, and/or power markets experience. • Experience navigating discounted cash flow models. • Experience at a U.S. solar, wind, or energy storage development company or Independent Power Producer in a quantitative, transactional role such as project finance, M&A, or power marketing/PPA origination; OR relevant, transferable experience in investment banking or private equity (or similar). • Aptitude for analytical and financial modeling with demonstrated attention to detail. Quantitative skills are a must for this position. • Advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint are essential. • Ability to summarize complex issues and identify opportunities or next steps. • Ability to manage simultaneous projects/work streams, set priorities, and exercise independent judgment.
