• Manage U.S. accounting operations, ensuring the accurate preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP. • Lead the timely and accurate execution of month-end and year-end close processes for U.S. entities. • Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial reporting mechanisms to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. • Oversee revenue recognition processes in alignment with ASC 606 standards, ensuring consistency across U.S. operations. • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, focusing on continuous development, upskilling, and professional growth. • Design and implement training programs that strengthen both technical and soft skills within the finance team, equipping them to meet evolving financial challenges. • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks. • Work with cross-functional teams to support business growth initiatives by providing financial insights that guide strategic decision-making. • Build and sustain strong relationships with senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on financial goals and strategies. • Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in U.S. financial operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred. • 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a strong focus on U.S. operations and SaaS industry expertise. • Expertise in revenue recognition and managing complex financial situations, especially within the SaaS sector. • Proven success in leading and developing finance teams with a strong focus on training, mentorship, and professional growth. • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders. • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus. • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment and adapt to cross-cultural, cross-time-zone collaboration.
