• Develop and maintain financial models for renewable energy projects to assess economic feasibility, scenarios, and risks. • Lead internal and external processes for marketing projects for sale to third party investors. • Support due diligence on potential markets and projects, including market analysis, regulatory considerations, and financial incentives. • Assist in structuring and securing project finance partnerships, including debt, equity, and other investments. • Support communication with investors, lenders, and other financial stakeholders to facilitate project financing. • Prepare and review financial documents, term sheets, contracts, and other related documentation. • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to inform financing strategies. • Support the creation and management of new products and services related to evaluating and financing renewable energy projects. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and product and engineering, to ensure successful project execution.
• 5+ years of experience in project finance, preferably in the renewable energy sector. • Strong understanding of project finance structures, including debt, equity, and tax equity. • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Willingness to work in a dynamic start up environment and innovate in renewable energy project financing. • Passion for renewable energy. • 3 days/week in San Francisco office
