Description
• Oversee day-to-day Accounting operations including AP, AR, Payroll, and Treasury. • Manage vendor invoices for timely payment and accurate expense records. • Monitor customer billing activity to ensure orderly collections. • Partner with external bookkeepers and Strategic Finance Team for month-end close. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and financial reporting standards. • Manage cash balancing operational needs and minimize working capital. • Improve revenue recognition processes and manage Tax filings with external vendors.
Requirements
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Accounting Operations, with at least 2 years experience at a small company/startup. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Familiarity with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition standards is a plus. • Familiarity with ERP Systems such as Quickbooks and/or Netsuite, and Microsoft Excel. • Experience managing Payroll. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills. • Ability to see what’s coming: predict future Accounting needs and lay the groundwork for them with adequate preparation. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, juggling multiple projects and tasks.
