• Spearhead the recruitment and hiring process, including onboarding for new employees. • Develop and implement employee engagement and training programs to boost morale and productivity. • Develop and oversee performance management systems to drive employee performance and development. Provide guidance on performance evaluations. • Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs. • Foster a positive work environment and handle complex employee relations issues. • Ensure effective communication channels between management and employees. • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. • Establish and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the company's evolving needs. • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, overseeing HR operations, and implementing best practices for HR policies and procedures. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • Prior experience in an HR Manager or HR Generalist role. • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in HR software and tools. • Previous experience with a startup is a bonus. • Ability to travel 2-4 times per year for company-wide events and meetings in the Austin office.
