Description
• Manage a caseload of various types of personal injury matters in litigation • Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including filing complaints • Draft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery disputes • Prepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearings • Take and defend depositions throughout the course of litigation • Prepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motions • Attend court appearances • Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases • Direct and support investigation on all assigned litigation matters
Requirements
• 1-2 years of Personal Injury Law experience • Strong background in Personal Injury Litigation, including pre-litigation case management and discovery • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required • Juris Doctor degree and current good standing with CA State bar required • Workers Compensation experience is a plus • Written Discovery skills • Conducting Depositions
