Description
• Assist in quarterly and monthly financial closes and the delivery of corresponding management reporting and analysis • Help prepare the quarterly financial statements, annual footnotes and 3rd party reporting • Support annual financial statement and 3rd party participation audits • Account Reconciliation, resolution of differences and cash forecasting • Track and report financial commitments • Identify and drive process improvements • Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Requirements
• 2+ years in Accounting, with public accounting• CPA/CPA in progress and entertainment industry experience a plus • Strong technical GAAP accounting knowledge and experience preparing financial statements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Great Plains, Concur, etc.) • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to command the details, think big picture, and balance multiple assignments in a fast paced, results-oriented environment • Intellectual curiosity with a desire to learn and a passion for entertainment • Exposure to ASC606 revenue recognition assessment for Film and TV license agreements and participation statement reporting a plus
