• Create requirements for the behavior of an autonomous system to operate safely within specific contexts in our ODD • Implement metrics and behavior models in Python to verify that the autonomous system is meeting these safety requirements • Propose tests to verify requirements using a combination of synthetic simulation, on-road logs, and closed-course testing • Quantify coverage of the tests for our ODD, ensuring simulation realism and relevance for deployment • Work closely with Behavior, Perception, Data Science, and Product while developing acceptance criteria for metrics and tests • Partner with simulation infrastructure and test integration teams to set up automated verification workflows
• Deep understanding of how robotic systems work and ability to leverage this knowledge to build requirements and tests for autonomous vehicles • Experience creating behavior requirements for SAE L2/L3/L4 systems to operate safely • Hands-on experience in systems engineering • Ability to read code in C++ and write code in Python • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written • 5+ years of technical work experience in a relevant area, of which 3+ years should be in robotics SW
