Description

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software solutions, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and maintainable. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Champion best practices in code quality, security, and maintainability. • Provide technical mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. • Drive innovation and stay ahead of industry trends to ensure our technology stack remains relevant and competitive. • Lead by example in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python. • Design and optimize applications for high performance and high availability, with an emphasis on scalability and resilience. • Implement and maintain databases in Postgres, ensuring data integrity and performance. • Utilize Dagster for workflow orchestration, ensuring efficient and reliable execution of data pipelines. • Develop and maintain APIs using FastAPI, focusing on performance and ease of use. • Contribute to DevOps practices, including automation, containerization, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects to success. • Deep expertise in Python, with experience in framework and library design. • Strong experience with Postgres, including database design, optimization, and administration. • Proficiency in workflow orchestration with Dagster or similar tools. • Experience developing APIs with FastAPI or similar frameworks. • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a holistic approach to addressing technical challenges. • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
