Description
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with relevant accounting standards. • Perform data reconciliations between financial systems, payment processors, and other relevant platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue data. • Work closely with Product, Financial Operations, Treasury, Legal, Finance and Data Analytic teams to design and implement scalable accounting processes. • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting through month end close, reconciliations and flux meetings. • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes. • Utilize data platform tools to extract, analyze, and reconcile data from various sources. • Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred. • 4-8 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a Big 4 public accounting firm or a similar high-growth fintech environment. • Experience in data platform tools (ex. SQL) for data extraction and analysis. Strong Excel skills and experience required with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite). • Understanding of fintech products and services, payment processing, payment flows and the regulatory environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including finance, engineering, and product.
