Building a trading network to modernize payment and communication between wholesale sellers and buyers.
• Drive new integrations and customer launches from inception through launch, working closely with development partners and internal teams like product, engineering, and account management; this includes: • Read & analyze API documentation, looking for the business implications and help our engineering teams understand how to execute • Collaborate with development partners and consultants to write file-exchange specifications, balancing between our business needs and the limitations of accounting systems; identify key gaps and work with product and engineering to figure out feature enhancements and work-arounds • Align teams involved and help hold them accountable to timelines and project plans • Lead testing, working closely with our technical services team to ensure integrations are reliable • Develop operational strategies and playbooks to improve integration quality, consistency, and speed; educate other parts of the organization in how they can contribute to the integration process • Build expertise in Wholesail’s product, back-end systems, and the nuances of complex customer accounting systems and ERP. You are Wholesail’s expert in customer accounting systems. • Document key product and integration details to diverse stakeholders including our internal support terms, sales teams, product and engineering teams, as well as external audiences like development partners, and customers. • Act as the point of contact for integration-related queries and issues, providing expert advice and solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and technical reliability. • Demonstrate good judgment and understanding of what matters to customers in the context of integrations; recognize when issues and concerns need to be escalated to customer and internal stakeholders, and do so effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex technical projects, ideally but not necessarily involving ERP and/or accounting systems • Strong technical acumen with the ability to quickly learn and master new software and systems; no programming experience required, though experience with SQL is required • Exceptional written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of working effectively with technical teams; experience working with customers in a post-sale context is preferred • Experience in an early stage startup environment is preferred, with the agility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and challenges.
