Description
• Ability to properly screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and various walkthrough metal detection technologies. • Be able to perform an ID verification as needed. • Perform access control, crowd management, and surveillance during events • Monitor for and respond to any security threats, disturbances, or safety issues • Interact professionally and courteously with event attendees, staff, and performers • Demonstrate and Enforce event policies and procedures, rules, and regulations • Assist with emergency response procedures and provide first aid, if necessary • Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and event organizers to maintain a safe event environment • Completing and submitting incident reports as needed. • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Must be 18 years of age or older • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent • Prior experience in event security or a similar role is preferred • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required • Knowledge of crowd management techniques • Valid CA Guard Card License issued by Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) • Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed • High level of professionalism and integrity
