Description
• Shepherd is building a better and faster way to underwrite commercial insurance for high-hazard businesses, • Utilize novel data sources • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan with measurable results • Take ownership of Shepherd’s external narrative and product framing • Manage internal and external resources to develop campaigns or marketing initiatives • Create unique events or customer experiences that drive growth and brand awareness • Work closely with the Shepherd underwriting team to supplement outreach efforts
Requirements
• 5+ years in a marketing leadership role at a software, insurance, or fintech (financial services) business • 2+ years in a product marketing (PMM) specific role • Direct experience with life cycle / ABM / partner marketing • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or relevant work experience) • Strong business acumen and willingness to operate in unstructured environments where you’ll own projects independently • Willingness to create and own copywriting • Strong sense of design • Organized and have the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
