Description

• Full-time role based in San Francisco • Work as part of a small team focused on capital formation activities and business development strategy • Interact with existing and prospective limited partners to capitalize Sixth Street's investment vehicles • Develop written marketing materials including Private Placement Memos and presentations • Assist with the coordination of all elements of Sixth Street's Investor's Conference • Coordinate the equity syndication process for portfolio company investments • Field LP queries on portfolio company status • Draft materials on new asset classes and market dynamics • Assisting in updates for the Sixth Street team, Partners Meetings, or Conferences • Work closely with deal professionals and legal to ensure compliance with firm's policies

Requirements

• Strong writing and research skills are essential • Knowledge of private equity, hedge and/or credit investing is a significant plus. • Detail and deadline-oriented, responsible and proactive • Self-starter who requires little direction • At least 2 years of proven experience in investment banking, investor relations or client management position • Strong understanding of financial services investment products • Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume environment • Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication abilities • Structured problem solver • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams • Strong prioritization and project management skills • Comfort working in a high growth, iterative environment • Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills
