Description

• The Structural Design Engineer is responsible for working multi-functionally to provide conceptual, preliminary, detail, assembly, and installation design. • This position requires a highly skilled professional with experience in aviation structures design. • You will be on the ground floor helping to design and build prototype and production aircraft. • The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with experience in drafting practices and 3D CAD solid modeling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing engineering or another related field required • Minimum of 5 years of experience in airframe design • Experience with conceptual aircraft development • Experience in airframe design, liaison, and manufacturing • Experience in composites structures design and fabrication • Experience using CAD software (Catia, UG, Pro-E, Solidworks) • Experience with Additive Manufacturing • Experience with 3D Printing • Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing • Experience with prototyping and production • Preferred experience with FAA certification process • Experience with Rotorcraft design/industry • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints • Self-motivated and forward-thinking • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
