• Create and execute effective, streamlined credit and collections policies. • Enhance efficiency in daily operations and month-end close. • Evolve reporting and metrics to drive insights. • Lead project-based initiatives to enable business scale. • Spearhead daily AR operations, including streamlining payment applications, managing billing inquiries, and executing strategic collection outreach. • Develop and implement robust metrics to track and report key AR and collections KPIs. • Create and implement a credit check process for new customers applications. • Establish collection strategy and dunning process. • Manage AR-related month-end close procedures. • Lead evaluation of AR system needs and oversee implementations. • Pioneer process improvements and automation initiatives. • Establish strong cross-functional relationships as a strategic business partner. • Serve as key liaison during financial audits.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Have a minimum 7 years of progressive experience in AR, Collections, and related accounting practices, ideally in a high-growth tech company. • Have 3+ years of management and leadership experience. • Have a deep understanding of AR-related accounting principles, GAAP standards, and financial operations best practices. • Have exceptional attention to detail with ability to analyze complex datasets. • Have outstanding communication skills; proven track record of engaging stakeholders and clients effectively. • Have strong organizational and time-management abilities. • Have proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Stripe.
