Description

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative for our client a laboratory. • As an AR Rep, you will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding accounts receivable balances. • You will work closely with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure timely and accurate payment collection. • Reviewing and reconciling accounts receivable balances • Identifying and resolving billing errors, discrepancies, and denials • Contacting insurance companies and following up on outstanding claims • Investigating and responding to patient inquiries and disputes • Posting payments and adjustments in the billing system • Preparing and submitting appeals for denied claims • Maintaining accurate and organized AR records and documentation • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Prior experience in accounts receivable or medical billing role • Knowledge of medical billing procedures and insurance guidelines • Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational and time management abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
