• Seeking a proactive Business Development Director focused on bankruptcy acquisition opportunities • Key member of acquisition team, sourcing and evaluating prospective acquisition opportunities • Oversee the acquisition process, managing due diligence, reviewing reports, and facilitating closings • Prepare market analysis, underwriting and deal summaries • Develop relationships within foreclosure, bankruptcy, title and lender communities • Attend selected conferences
• Minimum of 10 + years of real estate / financial services, legal, or banking experience • Preferably an undergraduate degree in real estate, business, finance, or accounting • Advanced Degree a plus • Thorough knowledge of loan servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, REO, legal and title • Familiar with specific organizations / events / data / publications catering to the debt restructuring and bankruptcy community • Strong time-management skills • Detail oriented and self-motivated • Strong aptitude for assessing, understanding, and quantifying risk • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management team • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate with and develop effective working relationships with others in a team oriented, collaborative and deadline driven environment • Travel required
