• Maintain the master tax filing tracker, the correspondence tracker and the payment tracker • Maintain Company’s organizational chart • Assist with coordinating and ensuring the timely filing of the Company’s federal, state and local income tax returns, including reviewing the workpapers prepared by the external service providers • Manage Fixed Assets with Sage Fixed Assets • Prepare CA SMLLC returns and business licenses renewal filing • Assist in preparing quarterly partnership taxable income projection • Assist with tax research projects and preparing memos • Assist in the resolution of federal, state and local tax notices and audits • Identify process improvements for various tax processes, implement changes for best practices • Perform other duties as requested by the management
• BS in Accounting or Tax (or related major) • CPA license preferred, Sage FAS experience preferred • 3 plus years of tax experience including the above duties • Must be detail oriented, resourceful and organized • Ability to multi-task and work in tight frames and deadlines • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Superior interpersonal abilities and a team player. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible. • Must ask appropriate questions when faced with difficulties • Must be a self-starter who handles multiple projects with competing priorities with minimum supervision
