Description

•Develop and implement a comprehensive social media and digital marketing strategy that aligns with the organization's mission, priorities, and target audiences. •Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality, engaging content across a variety of social media platforms, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging with an emphasis on innovative, social-first video creation. •Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies tailored to meet CZI’s B2B, B2I and B2D objectives. •Use your strategic mindset and excellent writing and editing skills to shape innovative and authentic content on complex topics. •Lead social media community and risk management, fostering meaningful interactions with followers. •Collaborate with internal teams and direct external agencies and partners in the development of integrated digital campaigns. •Identify and build relationships with key influencers and partners to amplify the organization's message. •Review and analyze social media and digital marketing performance, using data to inform strategies. •Stay abreast of emerging social media trends, platforms, and technologies. •Manage and mentor a team of social media and digital marketing professionals. •Develop and execute strategies for elevating the social media presence of executives and thought leaders within the organization. •Travel on occasion to meetings, events or on-location production shoots as necessary.

Requirements

•A minimum of 10 years of experience in social media and digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. •A deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends and best practices. •Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the proven ability to craft compelling content on complex topics for diverse audiences, including innovative, social-first video content. •Specific experience producing social content for a science-related organization is strongly preferred. •Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media and digital marketing campaigns across various platforms in collaboration with multiple teams, external partners, influencers and agencies. •Experience in managing executive social media presence and developing thought leadership content. •Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. •Experience managing and developing high-performing teams. •A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
