Description
• The GL Accountant, Payroll and GL Ops will manage all aspects of payroll accounting in a collaborative environment. • Responsibilities include processing payroll, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. • Position also includes cash workstreams and support for General Ledger operations.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting at a high-growth pre-IPO startup. • Strong understanding of, or interest in learning, payroll laws, tax regulations, and accounting principles. • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Paylocity), accounting software (e.g., Netsuite), and Google/Microsoft business software (Gmail, Excel/GSheets, etc.). • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and stakeholders. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges. • Bias towards challenging the status quo and leveraging technology to build scalable processes, gain efficiencies, streamline accounting operations and improve outcomes. • High level of honesty, integrity, commitment, and responsibility to day to day work.
