• This role is an opportunity to be a critical member of a team of procurement and supply chain professionals supporting various internal stakeholders in meeting their diverse range of goods and services needs. • In particular, the Sourcing/Category Manager will directly support research functions at Eikon including Biology, Chemistry, and Research Operations with oversight of categories of spend including but not limited to lab consumables/safety wear, various lab services, lab equipment, media, reagents, pre-clinical outsourced research and studies.
• Postgraduate degree with 4+ years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in Life Sciences, Supply Chain, Business, or other related discipline. • Industry certifications desirable (e.g. ISM, ASCM, CIPS). • Proven experience in category management, sourcing, or strategic procurement preferably in life science research industry focusing on R&D teams (GxP or non-GxP). • Demonstrated proficiency in assessing, translating, and communicating organizational needs into actionable supplier interactions. • Strong collaboration and communication skills with previous experience obtaining a seat at the table and partnering with internal research stakeholders to address objectives. • Excellent skills in supplier/project management, negotiation, and stakeholder influence. • Working knowledge of MS Office, JIRA, SAP, Coupa P2P and/or similar programs. • Ability to work and make decisions independently.
