Description

• Do spreadsheets, formulas, and data dominate your every thought? • As goodr’s Senior Accountant, you’ll be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting. • This will include: journal entry creation, ensuring all of CEO Carl the Flamingo’s shrimp is accounted for (and not lost at sea), account reconciliation, and support of our year-end audit process. • The ideal candidate would be able to hit the ground running and be an integral member of the Finance Team.

Requirements

• May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law) • 5 years of comparable work experience with knowledge of GAAP • A master at Excel (it’s a MUST!) • Loves a budget! Lives for a budget! Can’t get enough of a budget! • Confident communicator with all levels of our flock • Is a pro in all the month-end close tasks • Has experience with an ERP system (NetSuite ideal) • Has worked within the consumer goods industry and inventory • Is tenacious like a dog with a bone when it comes to reconciling accounts and solving challenges • Thinks accounting is fun • Is detail oriented • Asks a lot of questions • Will have a growth mindset • Loves the work more than a paycheck • Excellent communication skills • Is humble and collaborative • Loves getting and giving feedback • Is into personal growth • Loves to dive deep into details • Is into personal growth • Thinks Fun is being great (not partying) • Is proactive and an independent problem solver! (Can you google a question?)
