Description
• Create, maintain, and grow partnerships with various organizations for high-quality career opportunities. • Supervise a team responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with employers and agencies. • Manage grant-funded workforce development and training programs. • Collaborate with teams to create pathways that lead to high-quality careers. • Develop and maintain existing and new career pathways with external partners. • Create and sustain a robust portfolio of internships.
Requirements
• HS Diploma/GED, AA/BA desirable • 3+ years of experience in workforce development • 3+ years of team management experience • 3+ years of experience working with vulnerable populations • Optimistic and adaptive collaborator, even in ambiguity • Able to multitask under pressure • Proficiency in all basic computer platforms, including word processing, presentation software, spreadsheets, client management software, and email • Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business and grant documentation • Able to present information in a variety of formats (narrative, statistical, oral) • Able to track and analyze data • Embody the mission and vision of Homeboy as a leader and colleague, with a specific focus on achieving quality jobs for all trainees
