• Provide Operation and Engineering support for epitaxy film growth with MBE deposition chambers. • Perform final chemical clean and drying of incoming wafer substrates. • Assist with loading and unloading of wafers from the MBE chambers. • Ability to write, run, and monitor basic growth recipes for the MBE chambers. • Perform microscope inspection of epi defects and particle counts of wafers following epitaxial growth. • Perform material characterization of Epi material. • Perform transactions in MES for tracking substrates and wafers. • Data entry and have a basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC). • General housekeeping of MBE and Characterization Labs. • General clerical duties and light maintenance support. • Ability to work day or evening schedule. • Follow written procedures and generate new documents.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in InP, GaAs, or Silicon Wafer Fab. • Familiarity with the daily operation of vacuum based processes, and experience modifying process recipes. • Familiarity with the operation of various metrology tools and measurements. • Ability to wear PAPR and lift light loads 11-25lbs. • Work in a systematic and organized way. • Clear and efficient communication and documentation skills • Comfortable with computers, and use of Microsoft applications like word and excel. • Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered
