Description

• Optimize the Portworx R&D org execution success by owning operational practices and processes • Collaborate closely with leaders in Product and Engineering, as well as with counterparts in other BUs • Continuously evolve practices and processes to match Portworx team needs, from quarterly execution planning to ad hoc reprioritization • Collaborate closely with the Customer Experience operations team • Drive adoption of our operations through automation, simplicity and effectiveness

Requirements

• 10+ years of a strong, proven track record in one or more of the following disciplines: Business Process Operations, Portfolio, Program and Project Management / New Product Introduction / Product Operations in a commercial enterprise software development & delivery organization • Proven track record of designing systems, processes, workflows, templates, tools and automation to manage software development and delivery • Strength in identifying risks and balancing trade-offs in a wide range of practices and processes throughout the entire SDLC • Experience in establishing and applying agile product and engineering development and management methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe etc) and comfortable adapting and leveraging these in ambiguous settings with shifting priorities • Strength in facilitating alignment of competing needs and constraints by leveraging critical thinking, e.g. keeping right level of Operations when delivering complex products on ambitious timelines • Experienced in managing Product and Engineering Operations from start to end (incl. collaborative definition, change/adoption management, stakeholder management) • Concise and clear communicator, especially when documenting and introducing new practices and processes • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience. • SME in Confluence, minimum 2+ years hands on JIRA Cloud Administration experience • Experience in evolving a wide range of practices and processes for Product and Engineering teams responsible for enterprise software development and release from start-ups to established corporations
