Description
• Staff Accountant supporting Finance Department functions. • Provides high level administrative support and leads areas of work. • Prepares internal reporting and analysis. • Provides general accounting support including journal entries and reconciliations. • Collaborates with finance team for improving processes and documentation. • Assists with year-end closings and audit schedules preparation.
Requirements
• 2-4 years of transferable position and industry experience. • Attention to detail and accuracy, ability to plan and organize. • Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a collaborative office environment. • Experience using ERP systems. • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with significant accounting course work preferred or equivalent work experience. • Proven professional experience in accounting and automated financial and expense reporting systems. • Experience within a non-profit or philanthropic organization is a plus. • Intermediate to advanced computer/software skills, including Microsoft 365 and other online platforms.
