• Manage multiple customer relationships within assigned territory. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, purchasing, biomedical engineering, and other decision makers. • Identify new business opportunities and lead contract negotiations to drive growth within accounts. • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to grow market share. • Generate key insights through market analysis to clearly differentiate solutions offerings from competitors and build rationale for implementing new solutions. • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including marketing, product development and customer service, to ensure successful implementation of sales plans • Maintain accurate and up to date account information and sales forecasts in CRM system.
• BS/BA degree, graduate degree preferred, in a business or science related field • 5+ years of multi-state outside sales experience; preferably on the West coast • Preference given to candidates with previous experience in the Medical Device/Technology industry. Long sales cycle/capital equipment experience is a must. • Proven experience in selling to the C level suites of Hospitals and Universities as well as with procurement and operations leadership • Demonstrated sales success in attaining quota objectives, managing account relationships, and developing new account opportunities. • Excellent written, presentation and oral communications skills are a must. • Willingness to travel up to 50%
