• Build, mentor, guide and manage a team of technical recruiters • Partner with hiring managers on technical teams to develop a deep understanding of hiring needs and constantly evolve our technical recruiting process • Lead by example through hands-on sourcing and full lifecycle recruiting for critical technical reqs • Become an expert on IXL Learning so that you and your team can inform candidates about our products, positions, and company culture • Foster long-term relationships with high-caliber talent and build the best pipeline of candidates for our teams • Coordinate a seamless and efficient candidate experience that results in a positive impression of IXL Learning, regardless of the outcome • Develop closing strategies for candidates, ensuring that they have the information they need to make the best decision • Review recruiting data from all sources to identify trends and issues and promptly develop solutions • Assist with presenting trainings and knowledge to the IXL team to further recruiting development across the technical organization
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree • 8+ years of in-house technical recruiting experience, with a solid understanding of best practices in sourcing, candidate engagement and stakeholder management • At least 2 years of people management experience with proven success in leading, mentoring, coaching and managing a team of recruiters • Experience working closely with technical leaders, with an ability to translate business priorities into a talent strategy • Experience scaling teams and recruiting for various technical roles at all levels • Full cycle technical recruiting experience • Focused experience developing creative sourcing and talent engagement strategies • Strong eye for talent and an excellent ability to connect candidates with the right opportunities • Experience working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment • A true interest in understanding technology and a passion for education • Humility, accountability and a sense of ownership • Excellent communication skills and ability to cultivate great relationships with stakeholders, peers, team members and candidates • Innovative, highly organized, detail oriented, able to work quickly and accurately, and able to change tasks and focus easily • Experience with Greenhouse or other ATS
