• The Lead AIT Engineer will oversee the assembly, integration, and testing activities for aerospace projects, ensuring that all systems and components meet stringent performance, safety, and regulatory standards. • This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of AIT engineers and technicians. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members are effectively supporting mission objectives. • Assembly and Integration: Oversee the assembly and integration of spacecraft and satellite systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components. Ensure that all systems are assembled and integrated according to specifications and requirements. • Testing and Validation: Plan and execute comprehensive testing and validation procedures for spacecraft and satellite systems. Ensure that all systems are rigorously tested to meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. • Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot issues during assembly, integration, and testing phases. Implement corrective actions and work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems. • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of assembly, integration, and testing processes. Ensure that all activities are documented according to industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, systems engineers, and project managers to ensure successful integration and testing of systems. Facilitate communication between teams to ensure alignment and address any integration challenges. • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in AIT processes and procedures. Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall performance.
