• Act as a first point of contact for potential customers of private crew on Vast space stations • Manage customer contract execution from initial contact through completion of the mission • Collaborate with Communications & Marketing team • Remain up-to-date on competitive landscape and market • Develop bid/no-bid strategies and manage proposal planning • Organize and conduct customer development activities • Represent Vast at public events • Location: Long Beach, CA • Full-time, exempt position
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or science discipline • 5+ years of experience in a sales or program management role in the aerospace, space or hard tech industry • Master’s degree in an engineering or science discipline preferred • Ability to prioritize and successfully drive a sale or project from beginning to end • Ability to thrive in a startup environment • Passion for the space industry • Strong understanding of business-to-business sales processes • Ability to draft, review and produce large commercial and government proposals • Logical and strategic approach to problem-solving • Comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects
