• Develop and execute strategies for international retail expansion, assessing market viability, entry considerations, ideal timing/sequencing, and cultural nuances to support expansion into that market. • Define store operations approach to support adaptation of North America store operations technology and process into various localized business models including freestanding stores, malls, and department store shop-in-shops. • Develop and assess impact to existing operations across key cross-functional areas to support operations in new markets, including Legal, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Planning, Allocation, Store Operations, Merchandising, Visual. • Establish and manage critical path to open in a new market, considering all dependencies and cross-functional areas. • Serve as the cross-functional Program Manager for owned and operated locations from strategy and planning through execution of the critical path to open and operate in a new market, managing concurrent country openings while coordinating and preparing for future markets. • Maintain detailed project plans and support executive level updates of new country enablement status leading to first store opening. • Localize and translate operational policy and procedure to remain compliant in new markets. • Partner with the Global Education team to develop localized and translated onboarding materials. • Source and establish relationships with suppliers to support in region store operations.
• Minimum of 5 years in Retail Strategy and or Operations or in Management Consulting, MBA preferred • Experience leading and supporting retail functions in international markets, including Europe and Asia • Self-starter with ability to drive a high level of cross-functional collaboration, identify issues, propose solutions, manage risk, and implement improvements • Strong business acumen across multiple business areas • Ability to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
