• To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Senior People Business Partner to join our People team to support our G&A function, which includes our Finance, Legal, and People teams. • Our People Business Partners provide strategic business partnerships and coaching and develop people-related solutions to meet critical business needs. • This is a hands-on role — People Business Partners understand our business, goals, EAGER values, and culture to develop, implement, and continually improve solutions that positively shape the Grammarly team member experience. • Our team of People Business Partners plays a crucial role in collaborating with managers and leaders to provide people-related programs and solutions, coaching our management team, and shaping the experience of our team members across offices.
• Brings 10+ years of experience as a People Partner (HR Business Partner) and related roles; ideally has experience in high-growth pre-IPO tech and operating in companies and teams with global footprints. • Demonstrates excellent judgment in guiding leaders and managers through difficult decisions, balancing the needs of the company and team members. • Applies business acumen and data fluency to advance people-related strategies and programs. • Is an effective partner and coach to managers and leaders; delivers feedback and challenging information in a way that builds trust and collaboration. • Diagnoses talent issues and partners with managers and leaders to implement effective responses. • Knows firsthand the challenges of a growth stage company and supports managers and leaders in effective communication and change management for their teams. • Is a clear, empathetic, and effective communicator who understands differences in others and adjusts their approach accordingly. • Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable. • Is inspired by our MOVE principles, which are the blueprint for how things get done at Grammarly: move fast and learn faster, obsess about creating customer value, value impact over activity, and embrace healthy disagreement rooted in trust. • Is able to collaborate in person at our San Francisco hub as needed, including during in-person weeks, which occur 3-4 weeks per quarter.
