• Lead the sales strategy for events, booking third-party events, and securing sponsorships • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets • Oversee the booking of events in various venues • Identify and secure third-party events at existing events and venues • Develop and execute sponsorship strategies to secure partnerships • Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships • Identify and pursue new event opportunities and potential sponsorships • Collaborate with Ticketing and Finance teams to maximize revenue • Generate a definitive sales and marketing plan
• Minimum of 7 years experience in event sales, sponsorship acquisition, and venue management, preferably within the events or hospitality industry • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets • Strong network of industry contacts and relationships • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales and sponsorship plans • Knowledge of how to use social media to drive sales, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest • Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Slack, Google Workspace, and Asana • Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills; ability to work with little or no direct supervision • Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction required • Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment desired • Ability to handle competing priorities • Valid driver’s license required
